Dr. Bikramjit Sarkar is an accomplished computer science researcher and R&D administrator with over 9 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, specializing in computer security and eGovernance. Currently working as an Assistant Professor at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, he has also held similar positions at Calcutta Institute of Technology and Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College. Dr. Sarkar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering) degree in Cryptography and Information Security from Jadavpur University, a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MCKV Institute of Engineering. He also holds a Higher Secondary degree in Science from Uttarpara Govt. High School. As a researcher, Dr. Sarkar has published several papers in international journals and conferences, and has also presented his work at various national and international forums. He has a strong background in cryptography, network security, and information security, and has conducted research in areas such as secure data sharing, secure routing, and secure cloud computing. Dr. Sarkar is also a skilled R&D administrator, with significant supervisory and analytical abilities. He has successfully managed and executed several research projects, and has also mentored several undergraduate and graduate students in their research work. In addition to his academic and research work, Dr. Sarkar is also a Research Scientist with expertise in various technologies.
